The last game of the first half of the Warriors' season now will be one they were originally scheduled to play earlier this month.
Golden State now will play the Phoenix Suns on March 4, the team announced Saturday, making up the Jan. 15 game that was postponed due to COVID-19 contact tracing.

The Warriors' first-half schedule originally was set to end on March 3, with a road game against the Portland Trail Blazers at Moda Center. Now, Golden State will conclude its first-half schedule with a back-to-back before the NBA All-Star break begins March 5. The NBA has not yet announced its second-half schedule.

Golden State's game against Phoenix is the only one on the Warriors' schedule that has been moved due to the NBA's coronavirus protocols. In all, the league has postponed or rescheduled 23 games amid the still-ongoing pandemic.
The March 4 game is the second of three the Warriors are scheduled to play against the Suns. Golden State will host Phoenix for the third at some point during the second half of the regular season.
