Warriors' Steph Curry shouts out Bubba Wallace after emotional day

The beginning and the ending of NASCAR's telecast on Monday were emotional and powerful moments.

Before the race at the Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama, Bubba Wallace, the only Black drive in NASCAR, was flanked by every other driver and their crews as they pushed his car to the front of pit road.

Then, after Wallace finished in 14th place in the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series at Talladega, he greeted fans, some wearing "Black Lives Matter" shirts, and got choked up during a post-race interview.

All of this happened a day after a noose was found in Wallace's garage stall at Talladega. The NASCAR community rallied around Wallace on Monday.

Warriors superstar Steph Curry watched the events unfold, and posted a photo of an emotional Wallace with a message to the Alabama native.

Kuminga's Warriors importance on display in win vs. Pelicans

What Draymond told LeVert after heated Kuminga exchange

"Never met you @BubbaWallace. But feel like the world knows exactly who you are & what you’re about after today. Stare hate & bigotry right in the face & spread LOVE and HOPE," Curry wrote.

With racial issues at the forefront over the last month, Curry has been using his voice to push for change.

Two weeks ago, Curry and wife Ayesha attended a peaceful protest in Palo Alto. That came after Curry and Klay Thompson took part in a march in Oakland organized by teammate Juan Toscano-Anderson.

Curry always has a great feel for the moment, and his words to Wallace on Monday night were spot on.

I imagine Curry and Wallace will meet face to face soon.
