Steph Curry hit six 3-pointers against a Blazers team missing Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum, pulling the Warriors to a 104-94 win. Curry needs 10 3-pointers to break Allen’s record.

Steph Curry absolutely dominated ESPN's latest straw poll for the NBA MVP, earning 94 of the 100 first-place votes cast. The polling was conducted from Dec. 3 through Dec. 6.

Curry is the best player on a Warriors team that owns the NBA's best record, so it should come as no surprise that the guard is the MVP favorite.

Coming in behind Curry (978 out of a possible 1,000 points) was former Warrior Kevin Durant (610 points), reigning NBA Finals MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo (471 points) and Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic (256 points) and Phoenix Suns guard Chris Paul (160 points).

Only Durant (28.4) is averaging more points per game this season than Curry (27.5), and Steph is shooting over 41 percent on a ridiculous 13.3 3-point attempts per game.

Curry is also averaging 6.3 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game and has the NBA's second-best value over replacement player behind Jokic.

Steph is just 10 3-pointers away from overtaking Ray Allen's all-time NBA record for makes, which will further cement Curry's legacy as the best shooter of all time.

Steph holds no ill feelings toward KD for rejecting Warriors reunion

Adding a third NBA MVP trophy to his mantle would be nice, but Steph likely is much more focused on trying to win his fourth championship with the Warriors.
