Steph behind Dame on ESPN's top-100 players list for 2020-21

It's fair to say that Warriors fans are going to be a little salty today.

Why?

Because ESPN released its "Top 10 players for the 2020-21 NBA season" list Thursday morning, and Steph Curry is below Damian Lillard.

The Warriors superstar checks in at No. 8, while Dame holds down the No. 7 spot.

"This is the lowest Curry has ranked since breaking out as a star in the 2013 postseason," the article says. "The issue is availability, as a broken bone in Curry's right hand limited him to five games last season and he missed a combined 44 games the previous two campaigns."

Warriors must address kinks Steph warned of after Butler trade

ESPN host declares Steph Curry is Babe Ruth of basketball

We really aren't going to waste any additional on the whole "Steph vs. Dame" conversation. It reached a fever pitch during the summer, and surely will be discussed ad nauseam in a couple weeks when Golden State hosts Portland on Jan. 1 and Jan. 3.

On second thought, let's just remind you of one incredibly silly take from August.

Finally, in case you want to mark your calendars right now, the third and final matchup of the season between the Warriors and Blazers is on March 3.

P.S. -- LeBron James owns the No. 1 ranking, followed by Anthony Davis, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic, Kawhi Leonard and Kevin Durant.
