Klay Thompson hasn’t been cleared for full practice, but the injured Warriors star was dressed in full uniform before Wednesday’s game and went through shooting drills at Chase Center.
Klay Thompson was vocal about his displeasure over being snubbed from the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team, leading some of his Warriors teammates to have some fun at the injured star's expense.
Thompson joined ESPN's broadcast of the Warriors' win over the New Orleans Pelicans while riding an exercise bike at Chase Center. Klay sounds like he has moved on from the situation, but hopes to use his absence from the list as motivation for his eventual return to live game action.
"Yeah, I was disappointed just because I know back in 2019, the last time I was healthy, I wasn't able to make All-NBA and this again, and that's fine," Thompson said. I voiced my frustration and now it's time for me to get back on the court and prove them why I should be on the list. Honestly, I think that was meant to happen. I needed that fuel for the fire. I needed that motivation to come back and be one of the best in the world again."

Both Thompson and Draymond Green were not included among the list celebrating the 76 best players (due to a tie in the voting process) of the NBA's first 75 years, while Steph Curry did manage to crack the elite group.

Thompson mentioned during his appearance on ESPN that he is playing 3-on-3 at practices and getting closer to being fully cleared medically. The Warriors understandably are being extra cautious after two years away from the court, but Klay clearly is itching to get back on the floor.
That Chase Center debut can't come soon enough for Warriors fans.
