Klay Thompson suffered a torn left ACL during the third quarter of the Warriors' NBA Finals Game 6 loss to the Toronto Raptors.
Thompson's agent, Greg Lawrence, informed ESPN of the severity of the Warriors guard's injury after the season-ending defeat.

The Warriors confirmed the news less than an hour later.
Thompson's injury occurred with 2:22 remaining in the third quarter when he went up for a dunk on a fastbreak and awkwardly landed on his left leg after being fouled by Raptors guard Danny Green.
Thompson was carried toward the Warriors' locker room, but he returned to the court to shoot the two free throws, which he made.

The Warriors then fouled to get Thompson out of the game. After examination, they ruled him out for the remainder of the contest, and he later exited Oracle Arena on crutches.

It's a huge blow for Thompson, who will become an unrestricted free agent on June 30, and is eligible to sign a contract worth around $190 million with the Warriors.
