In his rookie season, 19-year-old Jonathan Kuminga has captured the attention of the entire league.
The numbers don’t do him justice in regards to what he brings to the game the moment he steps onto the court for the Warriors.
But people are noticing.

“In the absences of key players, the Warriors have learned unexpected things,” Lowe wrote. “One is that Kuminga is way ahead of schedule, and maybe ready (to these eyes, is ready) for playoff minutes … Kuminga is providing that ingredient, and then some, right now. He is 19 and somehow built like a tank -- with elite speed, power, and leaping ability. Blink, and he's on top of the rim.”
When the Warriors were down multiple key players, Kuminga stepped up and showed out.
It’s paid off for the young rookie, who has gradually earned himself more minutes on the floor.

And the Warriors will need that youthful energy for their final 12 games and certainly throughout the postseason, especially with the indefinite absence of Steph Curry (foot) and James Wiseman (knee).
