The Warriors took care of some business Tuesday night after their 116-106 win over the Detroit Pistons.
The franchise exercised the $2.2 million third-year option on Jordan Poole, the team announced. In other words, his contract for the 2021-22 season now is fully guaranteed.
Poole -- the No. 28 overall pick in the 2019 draft -- scored 11 points at the Milwaukee Bucks on Christmas Day, contributed 10 points (3-for-7 from the field, 2-for-6 on 3s) in Golden State's win over the Chicago Bulls on Sunday and finished with two points in 10 minutes Tuesday night.
