Warriors forward Draymond Green once again was asked about Charles Barkley, so the three-time NBA champion aired his grievances.
"I gotta lot of respect for Charles Barkley the basketball player," he told Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson on Showtime's "All the Smoke" podcast. "He never won s--t. Charles Barkley has kind of had this beef with me since I started coming up in this league. It's always him throwing a shot, throwing a shot, throwing a shot.
"And for years, I didn't respond ... honestly -- it's jealousy. It's jealousy that that somebody the same size as him -- or smaller -- could come in the league and have the success I've had, make the money I've made, win the championships I've won. "He made a lot of money for his time, but all three of us know the money has changed in this league. It's not my fault that I benefitted from the money going up in this era."
Barkley was an incredible basketball player. He won the 1992-93 NBA MVP award and was an all-NBA selection and All-Star 11 times.
Over 16 seasons, he averaged 22.1 points, 11.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.5 steals.
He did reach the NBA Finals once -- 1993 with the Phoenix Suns -- but lost to Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls in six games.

"Charles Barkley is kind of like a lot of these fans -- he scored more points than me. Aight, cool. But that don't necessarily mean that you have more impact on the game than me," Draymond explained. "I feel like it's just a lot of jealousy involved.
"And for me personally, I just hope to never be that guy. As someone who may do TV after I'm done playing ... I'm always the guy trying to look out for the young guy. Speak the truth on basketball. Speak the facts. But I think we all know -- and it's no secret -- that Charles Barkley don't study basketball. Charles Barkley get up there and talk out the side of his neck.
"I don't have an issue with somebody critiquing my game -- critique my game all you want ... but he like to throw shots and s--t. And it's like, bro, the jealousy gotta step. I'm a young black man that came up after you. You essentially paved the way. Appreciate the way that you paved and stop f--king hating."
