Steve Kerr ‘self-conscious' about Michael Jordan fight on ‘Last Dance'

This Sunday night, "The Last Dance" documentary on the Chicago Bulls is going to highlight the fight that took place between Steve Kerr and Michael Jordan at practice in 1995.

Kerr -- who won three titles as a player with the Bulls and has won three championships as coach of the Warriors -- isn't champing at the bit to check it out.

"I'm a little self-conscious," he told Wes Goldberg of the Bay Area News Group. "I've got mixed emotions about the story being told again.

"It's not exactly something I'm proud of. And it's weird -- especially with no sports on -- knowing that everybody in the sports world is watching this documentary.

"It's a strange feeling."

So what happened between the teammates during the scrimmage?

In a sneak peek from last Sunday night, MJ explained:

"He hauls off and hits me in the chest, and I just haul off and hit him right in the f--king eye. And Phil (Jackson) just throws me out of practice."

While Kerr is self-conscious about the whole incident, the rest of the world can't wait for Sunday.
