Viral screengrab perfectly shows Steph's inconceivable gravity

Anyone who questions the impact of Steph Curry in big games can now be silenced with one simple screenshot.

That hot take was a talker heading into the 2022 NBA Finals between the Warriors and Boston Celtics, with pundits mainly citing Curry not being the owner of Finals MVP trophy. The noise only got louder after Curry cooled off in Game 1 following a record-breaking first quarter.

But on Sunday night at Chase Center, the gravity of Curry's greatness was on display.

With just over three minutes remaining in the first quarter, Curry drove past Celtics center Al Horford to the basket. Horford scrambled to catch up while three Boston defenders swarmed to his assistance.

Meanwhile, Kevon Looney was wide open under the basket. Gary Payton II, Jordan Poole and Otto Porter Jr. had nobody near them spread out on the perimeter.

Now that's gravity.

Steph dished the basketball to Looney, who slammed it home with two hands to trim Boston's lead to three points. Golden State would finish the first quarter ahead 31-30, with Curry chipping in 10 points.
