Steph Curry, Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins knew they were going to pose at midcourt with their 2022 NBA All-Star jerseys prior to the Warriors' game against the Denver Nuggets at Chase Center on Wednesday night.
What they didn't know was that the Warriors had set up a surprise for them: A kid of each player was going to come onto the court and hand their father an All-Star Game ring.
It was a precious moment as Curry, Green and Wiggins hugged their respective child.

But the ceremony took place moments before tipoff against the Nuggets, so the kids needed to leave the court promptly so the game could get underway.
Curry's young son Canon wasn't all that interested in getting off the court. The 3-year-old made things tough, running around and avoiding all adults until Steph finally corralled him.
"He definitely was going to try to take [Gary Payton II's] starting spot," Curry told reporters after the game.

Curry and Wiggins were voted in as All-Star Game starters, while Green was selected as a reserve but won't play due to a lower back/disc injury.
As the Warriors head into the All-Star break with a 42-17 record after a heartbreaking 117-116 buzzer-beating loss to the Nuggets, the pregame moment with their kids was meaningful for Curry.
"It obviously was a great surprise and to see them all run out and enjoy that moment was definitely special for sure," Curry said. "All three of us out there, being fathers, it's kind of crazy how things have changed over the years. Definitely special. [Warriors senior VP of communications] Raymond [Ridder] tried getting him off [the court]. He wasn't having it, so I felt bad he was still out there. If I had let him, he would have stayed out there the entire 48 minutes."
After successfully removing Canon from the court, Steph scored 25 points in the Warriors' loss. He hit a go-ahead jumper and converted the free throw after a foul with 5.9 seconds left. But then a defensive slip-up by Curry allowed Nuggets guard Monte Morris to hit a game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer.

It wasn't the way Curry wanted the night to end, but it started with a moment he'll cherish forever.
