The Warriors were unable to upset the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the NBA's play-in tournament Wednesday night. Lakers superstar LeBron James hit the game-winning shot over Steph Curry to put Los Angeles ahead in the final minute.
Wednesday's matchup lived up to the hype, as both Steph and LeBron were phenomenal. After the game, the two superstars embraced after an exciting battle.

Right before James' game-winning three, the Lakers superstar fell to the ground after colliding with Draymond Green, seemingly catching a hand to the face. James can be seen pointing to his face at the end of his interaction with Steph, only for Curry to brush him off and walk away.
LeBron claimed that he saw "three rims" on his game-winner due to his blurry vision after the injury.

James finished with a triple-double, scoring 22 points with 11 rebounds and 10 assists, while Curry finished with an impressive 37 points, seven rebounds, and three assists.

Golden State was ahead for most of the game and seemed as if they were primed for an upset. After the loss to the Lakers, the Dubs will need to beat the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night to secure a spot in the playoffs.
