Stanford Medicine’s Dr. Seth L. Sherman, MD discussed Steph Curry’s left ankle injury and types of treatment available to Steph.

In the middle of NBA trade deadline madness Thursday, the Warriors released the latest injury update on Steph Curry.

The Warriors' star, who suffered partial tears to his superior tibiofibular ligaments and interosseous membrane and a lower left leg contusion against the Dallas Mavericks on Feb. 4, will be re-evaluated after the All-Star break, the team announced.

The All-Star break runs from Feb. 15 through Feb. 22, with the Warriors' first game back on Feb. 23 against the Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena.

A league source confirmed to NBC Sports Bay Area's Monte Poole on Sunday that while no timeline for Curry's return has been set, the Warriors are "hoping" the reigning NBA Finals MVP will be back in the lineup shortly after the All-Star break.

After the game against the Lakers, the Warriors return home for games against the Houston Rockets on Feb. 24, the Minnesota Timberwolves on Feb. 26, the Portland Trail Blazers on Feb. 28, the LA Clippers on March 2 and the New Orleans Pelicans on March 3.

The Warriors have gone 1-1 since Curry sustained the lower left leg injury, and overall this season, they are 8-9 without him. Golden State finishes the first half of the season with games against the Lakers, Washington Wizards and Clippers.

Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole have stepped up in Curry's absence, as the duo is averaging 36.5 and 29.5 points per game, respectively, over the last two contests.

With Curry expected to miss several more games, the Warriors will need Thompson, Poole and everyone else to continue to pick up their level of play.
