Steph Curry's in the middle of the best month of his career. He just might be having one of the best months in Warriors history, too.
Curry scored 32 points in Golden State's win over the Denver Nuggets on Friday night at Chase Center. It was his 11th game in April with at least 30 points, and he became the first Warrior with that many 30-point games in a month since Rick Barry in November 1974.

SIGN UP HERE The two-time NBA MVP now has 29 30-point games this season, 11 shy of matching his personal best. The Warriors have 12 games remaining on the schedule, so Curry would need another record-setting streak in order to even -- or exceed -- his career-high in 30-point games.
If Curry scores 30-plus in any of the Warriors' remaining three games this month, he'll surpass Barry's mark. Curry's 11 30-point games in April are a record for this month, but he has no chance of surpassing the current franchise record for a single month.

Wilt Chamberlain once had 19 30-point games in January of 1962. Somehow, the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer saved his 100-point night for two months.

Curry will just have to settle for breaking one of Chamberlain's records earlier this month, when he surpassed "The Big Dipper" as the Warriors' all-time leading scorer.
It's not a bad consolation prize, all things considered.
