Steph seals first road win with wild shot, ‘night night' gesture

After hitting a ridiculous fadeaway triple to seal the Warriors’ first road win of the season, Steph Curry told the Houston Rockets goodnight the only way he knows how.

The Warriors finally got a win on the road, and it wouldn’t have been complete without Steph Curry telling the Houston Rockets goodnight.

Near the end of Golden State’s 127-120 win over the Rockets on Sunday night at Toyota Center, the reigning NBA Finals MVP pulled out the “night night” gesture he made world-famous during Golden State’s 2022 playoff run after sinking a game-sealing three.

The fadeaway trey bumped the Warriors’ six-point lead over Houston to a nine-point advantage with just over 30 seconds left in the fourth quarter.

And after losing eight straight on the road before Sunday’s game, Curry had an extra pep in his step as he hit his signature night night celebration.

His dagger three even shocked his fellow Splash Brother, Klay Thompson.

When the Warriors were in Japan for their pair of preseason games against the Washington Wizards, Curry told reporters he hoped to bring the night night pose back in June should Golden State return to the NBA playoffs.

But Sunday was the second time Curry has told a team goodnight this season -- he also pulled out the move in the Warriors’ 106-101 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Nov. 11.

No one in the NBA is safe.
