It appears that James Wiseman could be making his return to the court this summer.
The Athletic's Shams Charania reported Monday morning, citing sources, that Wiseman received plasma injections in his surgically-repaired right knee, is nearing a return to full-contact work and that there is "optimism" he will be able to play in the upcoming Summer League beginning on July 7.

Wiseman tore his meniscus after playing just 39 games in his 2020-21 rookie season. The 21-year-old then missed the entirety of the 2021-22 season after experiencing multiple setbacks.
According to Charania's report, Wiseman and Warriors general manager Bob Myers traveled to London in April, where the former No. 2 pick received orthobiologic injections, a treatment that promotes healing throughout the body.

Wiseman reportedly has "gradually progressed" since the treatment and is now sprinting as he nears full-contact clearance.
