The Ringer's Kevin O'Connor has Golden State taking Josh Giddey -- a 6-foot-8 guard/wing from Australia.
"Giddey is believed around the league to be one of the Warriors’ main targets, though Jonathan Kuminga and Keon Johnson, among others, are in the conversation," O'Connor writes.
Giddey -- who will not turn 19 years old until Oct. 10 -- averaged 10.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 1.1 steals over 28 games last season for the Adelaide 36ers, while shooting 42.5 percent overall and 29.3 percent from deep.

He was named the NBL's Rookie of the Year.
"Ambidextrous passer who fluidly distributes the ball off the bounce," KOC writes. "Whether it’s a basic pocket pass or a high-level dish to a shooter or cutter, he delivers with accuracy."

What are his areas for improvement?
"Subpar spot-up shooter who needs to revise his mechanics," per KOC. "Can’t make defenders pay for going under screens in the pick-and-roll because of his shaky dribble jumper.
"Struggles defending man-to-man against quicker players and against bigger ones due to his lean frame."
