Former Warriors guard Jacob Evans is looking for a new basketball home.
The New York Knicks waived the 23-year-old Wednesday, the team announced.

Golden State selected Evans in the first round (No. 28 overall) of the 2018 draft, and the Cincinnati product appeared in 30 games as a rookie.
Evans sustained a left adductor strain in the Warriors' third game last season, which caused him to miss the next 21 games.

Upon returning in mid-December, Evans averaged 4.6 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 15.4 minutes per appearance.

The Warriors in early February traded him to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the deal that brought Andrew Wiggins to the Bay Area. And the T-Wolves last month shipped Evans (along with former Golden State big man Omari Spellman) to the Knicks for Ed Davis.
