Klay knows ‘Space Jam 2' character ‘spits hot fire'

After taking down LeBron James in three NBA Finals matchups, Klay Thompson will once again battle King James this summer, but this time as a member of the Goon Squad in "Space Jam: A New Legacy."

The first trailer for the sequel to the hit 1990s movie starring Michael Jordan dropped in April, giving us a glimpse of the characters who will be played by Thompson, Damian Lillard, Anthony Davis, Dianna Taura and Nneka Ogwumike, who will try to defeat James and keep him from saving his son.

We got a full glimpse and a name for Thompson's character Thursday when posters dropped for the Goon Squad, and the Warriors star, of course, had a great reaction to the true debut of "Wet-Fire."

As for the rest of the Goon Squad, Davis' character is appropriately named "The Brow," while Taurasi will be "The White Mamba." Lillard's "Chronos" and Ogwumike's "Arachnneka" round out the team James, Bugs Bunny and the rest of the Tune Squad must defeat.

Just like Thompson, "Wet-Fire" can fill it up, but will be any match for LeBron's "secret stuff" or whatever tricks the Los Angeles Lakers star has to motivate the scrappy Tunes.
