The Warriors shooting guard will not play against the Celtics because of right knee soreness.

Klay banged his knee at Orlando last Thursday and did not play on Saturday night at Philly. This will be his third missed game this season.

He underwent an MRI over the weekend and the results were clean, but clearly, the Warriors will be patient with bringing him back to game action. After tonight, Golden State has two days off before hosting Denver on Friday.

Over his last 25 games, the five-time All-Star is averaging 23.8 points while shooting over 52 percent overall and 48 percent from deep.

The Warriors will also miss his defense tonight because he is primarily responsible for trying to slow down Kyrie Irving.
