Kevin Love is on his way out of the Cleveland Cavaliers organization, but the Warriors aren't rumored to be in the mix for the big man.
Love and the Cavaliers have completed a contract buyout, the team confirmed Saturday, and a couple of teams are lining up to sign him.
ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski first reported the news Saturday, citing sources. While the Miami Heat hold the edge when it comes to signing Love, per Wojnarowski, the Philadelphia 76ers are interested in the 34-year-old as well.
Love's availability could have been appealing to the Warriors, too, who are expected to peruse the buyout market in search of size to fill their open roster spot. Love hasn't been linked to Golden State specifically, but NBC Sports Bay Area's Monte Poole did list the five-time NBA All-Star as someone who would fit the team's needs.
Love responded to the buyout report with a post on Instagram thanking Cleveland fans, adding he would have "more to say soon."

With the forward reportedly considering both the Heat and 76ers, the Warriors could turn to other candidates suggested by Poole, like Nerlen Noel, though NBA insider Marc Stein reported Thursday, citing sources, the Detroit Pistons big man isn't actively pursuing a buyout.
Another candidate on Poole's list was Dewayne Dedmon, who was scooped up by the Philadelphia 76ers this week, along with Gordon Hayward or Sege Ibaka.
Warriors general manager and president of basketball operations Bob Myers said Monday that Golden State's buyout market approach would be a collaborative effort between himself and coach Steve Kerr. He added that between JaMychal Green, Draymond Green and Kevon Looney, the Warriors hope they have enough size after trading away James Wiseman, but that they would take a look at buyout candidates.
"It's also determining how the coaches will use that player," Myers said. "For us to say, 'Here's a big guy,' and the coaching staff to say, 'We're not playing that guy,' it doesn't matter if he's 7-feet tall or 8-feet tall. Any buyout conversation has to be done in collaboration with the coaching staff, because why bring a player in if they're not going to use him?
"But if there's a player the coaching staff and the front office thinks can be helpful, absolutely. We'll go target that guy."
