On the latest Dubs Talk podcast, Grant Liffmann and Kendra Andrews focused on Kent Bazemore’s endless contributions this season on a minimum deal and if he’ll try to seek more money elsewhere in free agency.
Kent Bazemore, who turns 32 years old on July 1, is set to hit NBA free agency this offseason. Though general manager Bob Myers has expressed his hopes to bring back the wing to the Warriors, that might not be so easy.
Bazemore made it pretty clear on the latest "Locked On Warriors" podcast that the last thing he wants this offseason is another one-year contract.
"I want some stability, man," Bazemore said to the Mercury News' Wes Goldberg. "Tired of bouncing around. Wife is definitely sick of it. She's human, man. Every time she gets goin', it's time to go again. She's been great. Obviously it's been hard for her -- she let me off the hook a couple time. I'm really thinking hard about that, what she wants.

"My son will be 3 next April, so it's time for school, all these kind of things. I'm looking at it as ... I'm wearing a different hat now. The basketball will take care of itself with this being my 10th season. I just want to make sure I can get the small things right."
That sure sounds like it woud take a multi-year deal for Bazemore to return to the Warriors.
"Exactly, yeah. ... It's my 10th year, man. I don't really have time for all the runnin' around and stuff," Bazemore said. "I want to win, I want to play at a high level, teams know what I bring at this point. Obviously I'm working to get better, but as far as teammate, player, pro -- I'm the best it gets.
"So we'll see. Just looking forward to the next opportunity."

Bazemore signed a one-year contract with the Warriors this past offseason. It was his second stint with Golden State, where he began his career as an undrafted rookie out of Old Dominion.

The veteran shooting guard/small forward played 67 games for the Warriors this season, starting in 18. He averaged just 7.2 points per game, which was his lowest since the 2014-15 season. But his 40.8 3-point percentage was the best of his career.
Bazemore is close friends with Steph Curry, which could help keep him in the Bay.
But it won't be easy.
