Oubre has perfect way to describe Steph's greatness

James Wiseman has been in awe of Steph Curry's greatness early on in his Warriors career. The rookie center compared Curry's silky shooting to a video game, and he's not the only new Warriors to be in awe of the two-time NBA MVP.

After Curry put on a show in the Warriors' final preseason game Thursday night (29 points), Kelly Oubre offered the perfect description of his new teammate.

“He’s an anomaly,” Oubre Jr. said. “There's nobody else in the game of basketball right now like that ... he shoots the ball and you automatically just figure it’s going in. When he misses, you’re kind of surprised. He’s just, he's a different talent.”

Curry played in just five games last season due to a broken left hand. After an extended offseason, the three-time NBA champion has been in midseason form during the three preseason games, showing he's ready to put the Warriors back on the NBA map.

Even without Klay Thompson (Achilles), the Warriors should undoubtedly be a factor in the Western Conference picture. Coach Steve Kerr has been adamant in tempering expectations for the new-look Warriors right out of the gate, noting Golden State will look a lot better in three months than it does Tuesday when the Warriors open the season in Brooklyn against Kevin Durant and the Nets.

The NBA wasn't the same without Curry torching the nets from deep on a nightly basis. But the "anomaly" is back and ready to prove that the Warriors' dynasty is very much alive and well.
