Steph Curry scored the Warriors’ final 14 points but was unable to bring the team all the way back as the Spurs held on for a 105-100 win over Golden State.
Kelly Oubre Jr. did his part on Monday night. So did Steph Curry.
But the Warriors turned the ball over 20 times, Draymond Green shot a suspect 3-pointer in the waning seconds trying to draw a foul, and the Dubs suffered a bitter 105-100 loss to the San Antonio Spurs.
Curry put on another masterclass, scoring 32 points with some ridiculous highlight 3-pointers.

After the game, a reporter asked Oubre if it was “tough” for he and his Warriors teammates to “not to just hand [Curry] the ball” in clutch situations.
“I really can’t answer that,” Oubre said. “I feel like I can do all things on the court as well. Just an opportunity. Steph is somebody who we definitely lean on in the clutch. I think that we should all give each other that same energy. We’re multi-talented, multi-faceted basketball players on this team. It’s something that we have to explore more.”
The explosive wing had another night full of highlight reel dunks showing off his bounce en route to 24 points. It’s been something of a feast or famine campaign for Oubre thus far but the Warriors wing was eating on Monday, hitting four 3-pointers and recording two blocks.
After grabbing four rebounds Oubre said he has to do a better job on the boards, though, especially without any healthy Warriors centers.
“I didn’t rebound particularly well,” Oubre said. “That’s something I could have done better.”

Ultimately, the Warriors wasted another stellar night from Steph and an outstanding effort from Oubre. Andrew Wiggins had 11 points on 4-of-12 shooting but he was the only other Warrior to score in double digits besides Curry and Oubre.

Golden State is sitting at 12-12 as the regular season is already one-third of the way over. The Warriors have lost four of six since taking two victories against the last-place Minnesota Timberwolves.
James Wiseman’s imminent return should help the Warriors in a variety of ways, but Curry’s supporting cast still needs to step up if they want to get back to winning.
“We have to just let this one go,” Oubre said.
