Starting Thursday, the Warriors will be back from the All-Star break and back in game action for the first time in eight days. The race towards the finish line begins in Portland with their last game against the Trail Blazers this season.
Going into the break, Golden State owned a 42-17 record. That's good for the second-best record in the Western Conference, and the rest of the league, behind just the Phoenix Suns -- who are 48-10. Now, there are 23 games to go until the real season begins.
So, what's the slate look like? Let's break it all down.

Opponents' Win Percentage
51.7 percent
That would be a No. 8 seed in the Western Conference right now, and a No. 9 seed in the Eastern Conference.
Home vs. Road
The Warriors will play 14 games on the road and nine at home. So far this season, they have gone 16-11 on the road, good for a 59.3 win percentage, and 26-6 at Chase Center, which is an 81.3 win percentage. Their 26 home wins are tied with the Suns for the most in the league.
Road Games
Of their 14 remaining road games, 10 are against Western Conference teams and four are from teams in the East. The Warriors' longest trip to play a Western Conference team is the Grizzlies in Memphis. Orlando is the farthest trip to play an Eastern Conference team.
Longest Road Trip
Golden State starts on the road, ends on the road and has two long trips on the road before the regular season ends. The Warriors have a four-game road trip starting March 1 and ending March 7. The trip starts against the T-Wolves on the 1st, before playing in Dallas on the 3rd, Los Angeles on the 5th and Denver on the 7th.
The Warriors also have a five-game road trip that features two back-to-backs. That trip starts on March 22 and runs through the 28th. They play in Orlando on the 22nd, Miami on the 23rd, Atlanta on the 25th, in Washington, D.C. on the 27th and in Memphis on the 28th.
Longest Homestand
In between the Warriors' two long road trips, they have one solid homestand. From March 12 through 20, they start with the Bucks before playing the Wizards on the 14th, the Celtics on the 16th and the Spurs on the 20th.
Grizzlies-Suns Two-Step
The Warriors currently are 6.5 games back of the top-seeded Suns in the West. There's a very small chance they can pass Phoenix, and it's clear Golden State's priorities are more about staying healthy and being ready for the playoffs. But the Grizzlies are only a game-and-a-half back of the Warriors.
Memphis is 2-1 against the Warriors this season and are hungry to prove themselves in primetime. If the Warriors are going to reach their goal of the NBA Finals, they'll likely have to go through the Grizzlies and the Suns in the playoffs. On Monday, March 28, -- the second night of a back-to-back -- the Warriors will face the Grizzlies in Memphis. Two nights later, they'll welcome the Suns to San Francisco on March 30.

The only thing that can get in the way of these two marquee matchups is injuries, and that already has happened to the Suns. It was reported Sunday that Suns star point guard Chris Paul has a right thumb avulsion fracture and will be re-evaluated in six to eight weeks. The Warriors-Suns game is just over five weeks away.
Head to Head
23-12
That's a 65.7 win percentage, which would be a No. 4 seed in the West right now ahead of the Jazz and the No. 1 seed in the East.
So, the Warriors are facing a schedule that would be the No. 8 seed in the West and have done as good as a No. 4 seed against them.
