Draymond Green was ecstatic to prove the doubters wrong this season and couldn’t be prouder of himself for being named to his fourth NBA All-Star team.
Draymond Green knows the Warriors historically have not been an active team at the trade deadline, and doesn't foresee any significant moves being made before Feb. 10.
"We have a great team, we believe in our team, we have found a great mix of youth and experience and we're executing it," Draymond told reporters Thursday night in his first media availability since going out of the lineup with a disc issue in January. "I don't think, and it's not my job or my role, I can't see it happening and if it does I'd be shocked."
Despite pressure over the past few years to make moves to further the Warriors' chances of a championship, the front office has largely stood pat on the trade market.

During the 2019-20 season, when the Warriors were 12-40 and missing both Splash Brothers to injury, Golden State made the blockbuster trade on Feb. 6, 2020 with the Minnesota Timberwolves to bring Andrew Wiggins to the Bay Area and send D'Angelo Russell to Minnesota.

Two seasons later, the Warriors essentially have the opposite record in the early part of February, owning a 40-13 record after Thursday night's win over the Kings.
The frontcourt is an area of concern, as Kevon Looney offers the only true center option for the Warriors with James Wiseman's return timetable far from clear. Draymond typically plays quite a bit of center when healthy, and there is optimism he will be back sometime in March.

The Warriors have not been linked to many trade rumors as the deadline draws near, and Dub Nation collectively also would be shocked if the front office made a significant midseason move.
