Draymond tells refs to stop being so emotional after technical

Another night, another interesting interaction between Draymond Green and a referee.

Midway through the third quarter of the Warriors' 114-93 road loss to the Phoenix Suns on Thursday night, Green was whistled for a foul on Jae Crowder.

While the Suns forward shot his free throws, Green appeared to demonstrate what Crowder did to draw the foul and was assessed a technical foul by referee Ed Malloy.

Green and Warriors coach Steve Kerr weren't thrilled with the ruling, and the three-time NBA All-Star had the perfect response.

“Y’all gotta stop acting so emotional," Green could be heard saying.

Green's reputation is well-known, so he's not going to get the benefit of the doubt with veteran referees. They are going to have a quick trigger with him and won't hesitate to hit him with a technical.

The technical on Thursday night was Green's fifth of the season, assuming the NBA doesn't rescind it. He will be fined $2,000 for this infraction. But the fines start increasing whenever he picks up his sixth technical foul ($3,000).

Green and the Warriors will attempt to bounce back Saturday night when they return home to take on the Detroit Pistons.
