Draymond, son adorably watch film before Christmas game

While Draymond Green is away from most of his family for a portion of Christmas Day on Saturday, he brought his young son, Draymond Jr., with him to Footprint Center for the Warriors' game against the Phoenix Suns.

Prior to the game, while Draymond was breaking down film with one of the Warriors coaches, Draymond Jr. ran over and watched intently with them.

While Green was going through his pregame shooting routine, his 5-year-old son was on the court dribbling close to him.

Draymond Jr. celebrated his birthday earlier this week, and as a present, he got to spend Monday helping Warriors director of team operations Eric Housen. The youngster gave towels and t-shirts to players on the bench.

Draymond said he drew inspiration from his son, and recorded a 16-point, 11-rebound, 10-assist triple-double in the Warriors' win over the Kings at Chase Center that night.

After the Warriors' win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday night, Draymond admitted he wasn't happy about playing on the road for a second straight Christmas because he was going to miss his 1-year-old daughter's second Christmas celebration after also missing last year's while the team played in Milwaukee.

The good news for Green is that Phoenix is a short plane ride away from the Bay Area, so he will be able to return home after Saturday's game to celebrate Christmas with the rest of his family, including his young daughter.
