Coronavirus: How Steph Curry reacted to NBA season being suspended

The NBA entered uncharted territory Wednesday night. After Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for the coronavirus, the NBA has suspended its season for the time being.

Players across the league reacted to the news Wednesday night, with plenty of shock in the moment. Warriors star Steph Curry called for everyone to stay safe and take care of themselves.

Curry also reacted to what might have been Vince Carter's final game in the NBA if the season were to end.

Curry missed the Warriors' last two games with the basic flu, not the coronavirus. He only has played five games this season due to his fractured left hand and the recent illness.

The Warriors originally announced Wednesday that they would play Thursday's home game against the Brooklyn Nets at Chase Center without any fans in attendance. Like the rest of the league, Golden State's season now is on hold.
