But every once in a while, social media provides the platform upon which stories are told and furthered. Such was the case between Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum and "Jennifer."

McCollum's "I'm trying Jennifer" comment naturally became a meme of sorts, and to his credit, he's certainly backed it up. McCollum played a crucial role in Portland's Game 7 victory over the Nuggets, and there's no way the Blazers would be in the position they're currently in without his near-All-Star level of play throughout the season.
As fate would have it, McCollum got a chance to let Jennifer know just how hard he's been trying ahead of Game 2 of the Blazers-Warriors Western Conference finals matchup at Oracle Arena.
What a fun experience for Jennifer, and a cool move by McCollum.
