On Feb. 27, 2013, Steph Curry scored a career-high 54 points in the Warriors' loss to the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
He went 18-for-28 from the field, 11-for-13 from 3-point territory and 7-for-7 from the free throw line.

1) Curry scored 38 points (14-for-20 FG) the night prior in the Warriors' loss to the Indiana Pacers. Also, this happened:
2) Warriors forward David Lee was suspended for one game because of his role in the skirmish, and did not suit up against the Knicks (which must have been very frustrating for him, considering he spent the first five seasons of his career in New York before joining the Warriors for the 2010-11 season).
3) With no Lee and no Andrew Bogut available, Curry played all 48 minutes! He never came out of the game. On the second night of a back-to-back. This never would happen today.

4) Maybe the Knicks should have forced Curry to the other side of the court?
5) In addition to the 54 points, the three-time NBA champion led the Warriors with seven assists, and tied for the team lead with six rebounds.
6) Feb. 27 has been an extremely memorable date in Steph's NBA career:
2011: 33 points and a then-career-high 11 rebounds against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
2013: career-high 54 points at The Garden.
2016: 46 points, 12 3-pointers (which at the time, tied the record for most 3s in an NBA game) and the game-winning 38-footer with less than 0.6 seconds remaining in overtime vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder.
2017: 0-for-11 from deep vs. the Philadelphia 76ers.

7) Remember, Steph was hoping the Warriors would pass on him at No. 7 overall in the 2009 NBA Draft. Why? Because the Knicks had the No. 8 pick.
