Ayesha Curry thankful for support, prayers after Steph Curry breaks hand

The Warriors were hit with a wrecking ball Wednesday night when Steph Curry crumpled to the floor after making contact with Suns center Aron Baynes and immediately left the game holding his left hand.

It later was revealed that the two-time NBA MVP had suffered a broken left hand to became the latest Warrior hit with a devastating injury, joining Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant, both of whom were part of the NBA Finals carnage.

No timetable has been given for Curry's rehab, but his wife, Ayesha, took to Twitter after the news broke to thank everyone -- fans and players alike -- for the support they've shown her husband.

With Thompson out for the season, Durant now a Net and Curry breaking his hand, the Warriors' season went from a puzzle with no clear picture to one focused on growing young players and setting up the franchise for success when Thompson and Curry return to the court.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr already faced a daunting task coming into the season, but now his mission has changed. The five-time defending Western Conference champions are no more, the dynasty taken down by brutal injuries and the flight of free agency.
