Andre Iguodala could return to the hardwood relatively soon.
The Warriors announced Saturday afternoon that Iguodala had the splint on his left wrist removed and could be cleared to begin light ball handling and shooting drills within the next 7-10 days.
The 39-year-old will be re-evaluated in two weeks and depending on how his body responds, Iguodala feasibly could be a part of Warriors coach Steve Kerr's rotation in the second round of the 2023 NBA playoffs, provided Golden State gets past the Sacramento Kings.
Iguodala fractured his left wrist against the Phoenix Suns on March 13, just his eighth game of the season. The veteran forward underwent surgery to repair the fracture and initially, it was believed that he would miss three-to-six weeks or longer, depending on the severity.
However, this news certainly gives Warriors fans hope that another vital piece of the dynasty can return and give the team the extra push it needs to succeed.

As it stands, though the Warriors have missed Iguodala's multi-faceted game on the court, his experience and veteran presence in the locker room have just been as instrumental as what he does on the floor.
Though Golden State wouldn't mind it if the 2015 NBA Finals MVP and four-time champion is able to come back sooner rather than later.
