Thursday's Sharks vs. Vegas Golden Knights game at SAP Center has been postponed, the NHL announced Wednesday.
The Sharks canceled practice Wednesday morning and shut down training activities.

Tomas Hertl was identified later Wednesday as the Sharks player placed in the NHL's COVID-19 protocol.
The Athletic's Kevin Kurz reported Hertl is expected to miss some games.
Hertl, 27, has scored 11 points -- six goals and five assists -- in 17 games this season.
It is unknown at this time when the game will be re-scheduled. The Sharks currently are scheduled to host the St. Louis Blues on Saturday at SAP Center.
