Good news for the Sharks! According to a source, Mario Ferraro should make a quick return to the line-up.
With five minutes left in Saturday night’s 5-4 shootout loss to the Anaheim Ducks, Ferraro left the game after a Frank Vatrano puck struck him in the face.

This was shades of last January, when an Owen Tippett shot glanced off the Sharks defenseman’s stick and into his face. Ferraro left that tilt against the Florida Panthers, was in a dentist’s chair the next day for two-and-a-half hours and was back in the line-up after missing just one game.
“He’s good to play,” a source told San Jose Hockey Now, about Ferraro’s status for San Jose’s next contest on Nov. 10 at the St. Louis Blues.
