Win and advance. That's the Sharks' mindset for Monday's Game 6 contest against the Avalanche in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
While the Sharks' last Game 7 was an epic one, San Jose hopes to leave Denver with a win and move on to the Western Conference Finals. They'll again have to do so without captain Joe Pavelski, though he could be available in a possible Game 7.
In Pavelski's absence, the Sharks can lean on another big night from Tomas Hertl. He scored both of San Jose's goals in a Game 5 win and has been great in these playoffs.
