“He’s injured a little bit, but this isn’t gonna be long-term,” San Jose Sharks head coach David Quinn said of Reimer today. “This might be a one-game situation.”
Quinn says that Reimer has a lower-body injury.
Reimer was spectacular in his last performance on Nov. 19 against the New York Rangers, stopping 41-of-42 shots in a 2-1 loss. The Sharks had an off-day the next day, and Reimer appeared to participate in full during yesterday’s morning skate, even debuting his brand-new Reverse Retro mask.
