Raiders LB Quentin Poling chronicles attempt to get coronavirus test

Raiders linebacker Quentin Poling shared a firsthand account of his struggles to get tested for COVID-19 on social media recently, believing he was infected with coronavirus following an offseason trip to Spain.

Poling posted three tweets Tuesday describing his experience and expressing frustration with his inability to be administered a coronavirus test.

A little social media pressure apparently worked, because Poling reported on Wednesday that he got a test administered.

Poling was afraid he had contracted COVID-19 and was self-quarantining prior to the attempt to get a test.

Poling was a Miami Dolphins seventh-round draft pick in 2018 and was on the Dolphins practice squad that season. He spent most of the 2019 season on the Raiders practice squad, but was promoted to play one game with the Silver and Black, a Week 10 victory over the L.A. Chargers.

Poling spent the end of last season on the Falcons practice squad but signed a reserve-futures deal with the Raiders in February.
