ESPN first reported the news.
Kizer, 23, played in three games last season for Green Bay. He completed just 47.6 percent of his passes and tossed two interceptions while failing to throw a touchdown pass.

Coach Jon Gruden and the Raiders' front office had a close look at Kizer this preseason when Oakland faced the Packers in Winnipeg. Kizer completed four of his seven pass attempts for 24 yards and tossed one interception.

Kizer joins quarterbacks Derek Carr, Nathan Peterman and Mike Glennon on the Raiders' roster. The Raiders will move on from one of those signal-callers in some way, either through a roster cut or a trade.
Glennon has quality experience as an NFL starter, and he could be an attractive option to a team needing a backup. He's set to earn a $1 million base salary that is fully guaranteed.
Gruden has helped Peterman progress as a quarterback and re-gain some confidence this summer after a disastrous stint in Buffalo, but his attractiveness to other teams remains uncertain.
