Raiders rookie running back Josh Jacobs is now a record-setter.
Jacobs surpassed Marcus Allen's record for most rushing yards in a rookie season (697) Sunday, with eight games remaining in his first NFL season.

The 21-year-old has now run for 740 yards this season after rushing for 128 -- and two touchdowns -- in Oakland's nail-biting 31-24 win over the Detroit Lions at the Coliseum on Sunday. Jacobs' six rushing TDs are tied for the third-most by a Raiders rookie, and he needs six more to break Allen's mark of 11 TDs.
Sunday also marked the third multi-touchdown game of Jacobs' career, putting him in additional elite company.
That's as good of a reason as any for Jacobs to do the "Ickey Shuffle" when he next scores a TD.

Jacobs shouldered a bigger load in the running game than he has at any point this season, rushing a career-high 28 times. The Alabama product still averaged 4.3 yards per carry, and he wasn't once tackled for a loss, either.
Not bad for a former Crimson Tide backup.
