The No. 4 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft Keegan Murray, from the University of Iowa, was happy to be going to Sacramento to put on the Purple and Black.
Keegan Murray is the fresh face of the franchise in Sacramento.
The Kings selected the Iowa product with the No. 4 pick in the 2022 NBA Draft to help turn things around in Sactown and hopefully end their NBA record 16-year playoff drought.
But first, Murray's first NBA contract has to be signed.

The contract slot for the No.4 pick is a two-year, $16 million deal with the Kings that includes two team options, maxing the deal through the 2025-26 season at $35 million, according to Spotrac.
Murray will join forces with the dynamic duo of De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis, aka “The Fox and the Ox.”
The 6-foot-8 forward with an estimated 6-11 wingspan best filled what the Kings were looking for this offseason. Murray’s size, rebounding, defensive versatility and outside shooting will be a great addition for Sacramento on the court.
