Like Marvin Bagley, De’Aaron Fox’s summer just got busier.
According to a source with knowledge of the situation, Sacramento’s starting point guard received an invitation to Team USA’s Select Team training camp which will take place in Las Vegas in August.
This isn’t the first Team USA experience for the 21-year-old speedster. Fox was named to the 2015-16 USA Basketball Men’s Junior National Team in 2015 as a prep player and played in the 2016 Nike Hoop Summit with the program.

Fox joins Bagley on the Select Roster. Free agent forward Harrison Barnes also received an invite for the Team USA parent club, which will take place at the same time.

In his second NBA season, the former Kentucky Wildcat averaged 17.3 points, 7.3 assists and 3.8 rebounds for Sacramento. Fox finished in third place for the NBA's Most Improved Player Award and is considered one of the building blocks of the Kings franchise.
