Report: Ex-Kings big man Giles agrees to deal with Blazers

Harry Giles' time with the Kings is done, as the young big man reportedly has found a new home.

Giles has agreed to a one-year contract with the Portland Trail Blazers, a source told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on Sunday.

The Kings selected Giles with the No. 20 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. He essentially redshirted his first year as a pro while rehabbing a knee injury, and then he averaged 7.0 points and 3.9 rebounds per game in the next two seasons with the Kings.

Giles, 22, played 46 games for Sacramento last season, starting 17. He averaged 6.9 points and 4.1 rebounds while playing 14.5 minutes per game.

There's no doubt Giles is a skilled player, but injuries have derailed his career, dating to high school. A change of scenery could be exactly what he needs.
