Kings fans made their presence known in Sacramento's 123-96 blowout win of the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday afternoon at Crypto.com Arena.
With the outcome already determined late in the fourth quarter, Kings fans could be heard chanting "Light the Beam." What was a home game for the Clippers quickly felt like the arena became Golden 1 Center south.

Playing a matinee game can throw a wrench into lighting up any beam, so coach Mike Brown is calling for the Kings' front office, especially the inventor of the beam, Kings president of business operations John Rinehart, to begin researching to have one be visible after early games.
"So we got to get a stronger beam," Brown told reporters after the win.
"[Kings chief operating officer] Matina [Kolokotronis], [Kings owner] Vivek [Ranadivé] and J.R., you're in the mix too and figure out how the beam can be seen with a 1:00 p.m. game today and any other future games that we win during the day."
Luckily for the Kings' front office, they have plenty of time to figure out how to build a beam powerful enough to be seen during the day, as most of the team's games will be played at night.
