Watch Giants' Austin Slater hit two home runs off Clayton Kershaw

Austin Slater needs to play more.

He made a pretty convincing argument in the third inning of the Giants game against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday. After barreling a hard-hit lineout in his first at-bat against San Francisco nemesis Clayton Kershaw, Slater didn't miss in his second time up.

Dead center. Very impressive.

You know what's more impressive? Doing it a second time.

Slater came up again in the top of the fifth, and took Kershaw deep again.

Not only was it Slater's first multi-homer game, he also became the first player in Giants history to have a multi-homer game against Kershaw.

If that doesn't earn you more playing time, I don't know what will.

Mike Yazstrzemski also hit a solo shot in the third, making it the first time the Giants have ever taken Kershaw deep at least three times in the same game.
