Austin Slater needs to play more.
He made a pretty convincing argument in the third inning of the Giants game against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday. After barreling a hard-hit lineout in his first at-bat against San Francisco nemesis Clayton Kershaw, Slater didn't miss in his second time up.

Dead center. Very impressive.
You know what's more impressive? Doing it a second time.
Slater came up again in the top of the fifth, and took Kershaw deep again.
Not only was it Slater's first multi-homer game, he also became the first player in Giants history to have a multi-homer game against Kershaw.
If that doesn't earn you more playing time, I don't know what will.
Mike Yazstrzemski also hit a solo shot in the third, making it the first time the Giants have ever taken Kershaw deep at least three times in the same game.

Kershaw was removed after Yazstrzemski hit an RBI double in the fifth.
