George Kontos, Rich Aurilia and Shawn Estes join the crew on the 2022 Giants Season Preview Show to cast their predictions on where San Francisco will rank among the NL West.
Following a franchise-best 107-win season in 2021, the Giants' over/under for wins this season is rather surprising.
After Buster Posey announced his retirement, San Francisco lost both Kevin Gausman and Kris Bryant in free agency and all three of those departures likely played a role in the conservative betting line.
With six days until Opening Day, our partner, PointsBet, currently gives the Giants an 84.5 over/under win total for the 2022 season.

NBC Sports Bay Area's Giants analyst Shawn Estes certainly does not agree with the projection.
"Wow, where's the respect? 107 wins last year and predicted to win around 84, 85 games this year, that seems a little ridiculous," Estes said on the Giants Season Preview show. "The rotation is better than last year, the bullpen was the best bullpen in baseball last year, they're all coming back. The offense is one of the best offenses in baseball. Yes, they're missing Buster Posey, but a 23-game swing by not having Buster Posey? I don't think so.
"You have the DH this year, which is going to allow Gabe Kapler to get some of the veteran guys off their feet defensively every once in a while. This team, at worst, will win 88-90 games."
The Giants didn't make any huge splashes this offseason, keeping most of the same roster together for the upcoming season. After re-signing both Brandon Crawford and Brandon Belt, San Francisco re-signed pitchers Anthony DeSclafani and Alex Wood before eventually signing starting pitcher Carlos Rodon and outfielder Joc Pederson in free agency after the MLB lockout ended.

If last season proved one thing, it's that President of Baseball Operations Farhan Zaidi and the Giants front office have set the team up for success for years to come.
