ESPN's Jeff Passan reported Tuesday night that the Dodgers and Boston Red Sox have agreed on the framework of a trade that will send outfielder Mookie Betts and pitcher David Price to Los Angeles, citing sources. The deal is pending medical reviews.

Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal also reported that an unidentified third team is involved in the trade, citing a source.
USA Today's Bob Nightengale reported that the Minnesota Twins are that third team.
According to Rosenthal, the Dodgers reportedly would send outfielder Joc Pederson to the Los Angeles Angels if the trade is completed.
The Dodgers have reached the World Series in each of the last two seasons, but have fallen short each time. Clearly, they're approaching this reported trade hoping to rectify that fact.
