MLB power rankings: Where Giants, A's stand before 60-game 2020 season

Finally, after three long months of nasty negotiations between the owners and players, we are ... back where we started.

The sides will revert back to a March 26 agreement that allows the commissioner to impose a season, and on Monday it became clear that 60 games is all fans will get in 2020. It's going to be absolutely unlike anything we've seen in the sport, and teams are scrambling to figure out how best to take advantage.

Do rotations even exist in 2020? How many openers is too many? How many players can you put in a platoon? What do you do with prospects without a minor league season? Is piggybacking pitchers the new hot trend?

That will all be figured out over the next three months. For now, here's an early look at how we see MLB stacking up as the game prepares to return.
