The Giants brought the long ball for Father's Day at Oracle Park as four home runs powered them past the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday for an 11-2 win.
While the balls sailed over the wall in San Francisco, the Giants earned a three-game series win over the Phillies. The Giants now have won or split eight straight series as they continue to lead the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NL West. The last series they lost was at the hands of the Dodgers in a three-game sweep back on May 21-23.

The victory also gave Sammy Long his first career win in the majors, in what happened to be his first career big league start. Long allowed two earned runs -- on a two-run shot from J.T. Realmuto -- across six innings pitched.
From the first inning on, it was clear this was the Giants' day in front of their home fans. They took a 3-0 first-inning lead on two homers and never looked back. Here are three more things to know as the Giants improved to 46-26 on the season.
Long Gets First W
With his father Trent watching from the stands, Long earned every bit of his first career big league win. The 25-year-old struck out six and walked just one batter. He made just one mistake, but did so when they Giants already handed him a 3-0 lead.

This wasn't just Long's first career start, it was his longest appearance of the year both in the majors and minors. In his three appearances in the majors, Long has gone four innings, five innings and now six innings. He never threw more than four innings for the Richmond Flying Squirrels or Sacramento River Cats.
In addition to being Father's Day, it also was a reunion of sorts for Long. When Long was a freshman at Sacramento State University, Phillies first baseman Rhys Hoskins was a junior. Hoskins' three at-bats against Long ended in a flyout, walk and strikeout.
Wilmer Flores Show
Manager Gabe Kapler placed Flores in the three-hole against right-hander Zach Eflin, and that sure was the right move. Flores went 4-for-4 with two solo shots and two singles. He had two RBI and three runs scored.
Flores now is on a nine-game hit streak. Sunday gave him his first four-hit game of the year, his first multi-homer game this season and his sixth-career multi-homer game, which gave him six deep flies this season. He improved his batting averaged from .244 to .263 in one day.
After starting off slow, Flores is becoming the power bat this season that he was last year. Flores hit just .214 in March/April and then improved to .263 in May. His perfect four-hit game has him now batting .319 (15-for-47) in June.
Slam Francisco
No, there wasn't another grand slam this time but the Giants again put on an impressive power display at the plate.

Their four home runs gave them 107 on the season in 72 games. When the Giants won the World Series in 2012, they finished dead last with only 103 homers in 162 games.
Buster Posey led the Giants with 24 homers that season on his way to winning NL MVP. He already is halfway there with 12 this year.
Brandon Crawford, who hit four homers in 2012, hit his 16th blast Sunday, as he continues to look like an All-Star every game.
The Giants now are on pace to hit 243 homers. That's eight more than the franchise record of 235 in 2001, the year Barry Bonds broke the single-season home run record.
